1. Working Principle
The dry sealed three-tank oil-immersed transformer operates based on the principle of electromagnetic induction. When an alternating current is applied to the primary coil, an alternating magnetic field is generated in the transformer core. This magnetic field induces an electromotive force in the secondary coil. By adjusting the number of turns in the windings, the ratio of the electromotive forces between the primary and secondary sides can be altered, thus achieving voltage transformation.
2. Structure
• Three-Tank Design: This unique structure consists of three separate tanks. Each tank has its specific function. One tank houses the core, another is for the high-voltage winding, and the third is for the low-voltage winding. This separation helps in better heat dissipation, isolation, and maintenance.
• Core: Made from high-quality silicon steel sheets with excellent magnetic permeability. The sheets are carefully laminated to minimize eddy current losses during operation, ensuring high magnetic efficiency.
